UPDATE: THE GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED, AND WE HAVE A WINNER – actually THREE winners! Congratulations to Ellen Garaffa of Treynor, IA; Patrycja Adamowska of New York, NY; and Becky Metzger of Ames, IA – they each win a brand new copy of the book, as well as the special limited-edition “Beauty Isn’t Always Pretty” button that was made just for the book launch in May!

Thank you all for entering, and congrats again to our winners!

Win a brand new hardcover copy of the New York Times bestselling Stepsister, my new novel that picks up where Cinderella left off and tells the story of Isabelle, one of the “ugly” stepsisters.

I will select three winners at random — register below with your e-mail or Facebook address to enter!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

In addition to the book, I’m including this special limited edition “Beauty Isn’t Always Pretty” pin that was made for the Stepsister launch.

If you’re a winner, I’ll contact you for your shipping details (I’m afraid I can only ship to the U.S. at this point – I hope to do a global contest soon!)

I’d be happy to sign the book for you, too — just let me know when we correspond.

If you don’t already subscribe to my e-mail newsletter, you’ll be added to that list when you register for the giveaway — and I’ll send you updates on new books, events, and new projects (like the Stepsister film deal!) on a periodic basis.

The contest runs until October 14, and you need to be 13 or over to enter – you can access the full rules from the form above.

I have received such incredible support from readers and reviewers for Stepsister — and I’m so excited to share it with three lucky winners!

Good luck!

What can I say about this book, it is simply perfect, it is my best reading of this year without a doubt, an excellent story, well-defined characters. I love Isabel, I wish we were all as ugly as they were, you became one of my favorite writers and now I’m with ‘The Tea Rose’ just perfect.

I’m actually rereading the Tea Series right now. Its been awhile since I read them……they are just so amazing, and I know it had to be exhausting for you to write those……they certainly are classics………..

    Hi Jennifer,
Your books are some of my absolute favorite!!! I have been in love with the Waterfire Saga since the 5th grade…and it’s now 6 years later!! I often think about how infatuated I was with the books (it all started with the Scholastic Book Order, and then pre-order on Amazon) but the love definitely wasn’t short-lived, seeing as I am far along into my high school career as of now! Lost in a Book was amazing too! I have read all of your middle-grade books and have loved ever one of them. Thanks for all of your amazing work <3 I can’t wait to read Stepsisters.

I read Tea Rose trilogy a few years ago. I was sorry there were only 3 books. Still one of my very favorites! Sure hope the movie gets made. I also read A Northern Light. Very good book. Stepsister sounds like a book I will enjoy. Best to Miss Donnelly.

    Dear Jennifer,

I am so grateful for your work! I was substitute teaching in a library several weeks ago and came across A Northern Light. It was in the “return to shelf cart.” I picked it up to pass the time and LOVED it. I went to Barnes&Noble…because I didn’t want to wait 3 days for Amazon Prime… I read it (devoured it) and now I am reading Revolution… I love your characters. So I am a mom…. Three Kids. Once upon a time musician…so yes, the Revolution…It speaks to me. I love all things French, too. It is a slice of heaven…akin to nights watching Poldark…but so much better. 🙂 Thank you for the escape! Tea and Dark Chocolate and your Book. So good!

Aww, what a lovely note, Becky — it makes my day!! ??? Yes, tea and dark chocolate is pretty much the miracle concoction for just about anything (I cannot sit down to write without both!!)

  6. Karen LLaneza says:

well, I have the hard cover copies of the Tea series, wish they would make that into a series. they have been loved and passed around. I love your writing, and would love a Hardcover copy of your book. Keep writing for us…..

This book is amazing. I read it in 2 days, happily went to work with no sleep. So much better and different than what I assumed. Breaks your heart and gives girls a new hero all in one book. The animal parts really got me. This is on my “special shelf”. The one I only let people borrow after a signed contract and a promise of their first born if not returned promptly. Thank you for a beautiful story. I would LOVE one signed!???
